Brother 240C, also everytime I change screens, I have to resign in again on Yahoo.

Make sure the computer connection is hooked up to the back of it so that they can be sent and received. If it is hooked up to the back, then check and/or change the cord and see if it works then. If that still does not work, try it with just a phone connection and it should work that way.
In yahoo just tick the box to save the password for two weeks so that you need not sign in for two weeks .
To my understanding your problem is you need to resign again and again when you change the screen . Then the above solution will work .
Check the cable of the printer and install antivirus in system and try now
Is your fax set on AUTO REC mode? It sounds like it got tripped into MANUAL MODE for some reason.

Cannot send a fax"
has to do with yahoo, please explain problem in detail.
If Brother 240C cannot fax, common reasons are setting problems, and phone lines problems.
If you have a broadband router connected to the same line, ensure that there is a broadband filter.
Test a replacement phone cable, a defective phone cable will prevent Fax from working.
Also ensure phone socket is OK, if you have an alternative stand alone fax machine test it on this socket.
If the Fax cannot send or receive faxes, then it is usually a software problem, reinstall your fax software, and ensure that the default fax is set on your fax application, refer to user manual to do this.

Ensure you installed all software from printer CD, otherwise the Fax may not work.
To fix the yahoo problem , try updating your browser, if you use Internet Explorer, see: Internet Explorer: Get It Now.

You can try checking on these steps to resolve your issue:
1. Make sure that you have the normal screen on the LCD ex.
date/time FAX (Receive modes can be TAD, MANUAL, FAX/TEL) Please
take note of the display.
2. Just to double check press Hook to verify if you have a dial tone.
3. Make sure you have the correct Receive mode on your screen
4. To change the Receive mode to the correct receive mode just press
Menu 0,1 then press the arrow keys to select the correct Receive Mode press OK
to choose your selection & press the STOP/EXIT key to go back to the main
screen.
