Question about Shower Hardware
Making it impossible to change the temp, so in winter it's too cold and in summer too hot!
You could have mineral deposits on the temperature probe inside of the unit. If you remove the heater and purchase a bottle of lime and scale remover (lime away) to put inside of it. Let the unit sit full of water and chemicals for 24 hours. Flush out the unit to remove any residue. You may see the water is brown if you have a lot of buildup. Reconnect unit and test your settings. If this doesn't work, install a anti-scalding device, available at a plumbing supply store.

SOURCE: Water Temperature
from what you have described it sounds like a thermostat problem.either scaled up or the filters could be blocked?
You do not mention what model it is?
you will need some specialist tools but you need to identify what model 1st & then we can go from there?

SOURCE: Shower goes hot and cold
If you are having trouble only at the one fixture (shower), and no where else, the problem is most likely in the shower valve...which either needs new cartridges, or a complete replacement.
hope this helps

This sounds like the elements or you just may need to turn the heat up. If it under two years old call the manu on the warranty. They make a good product so they should help you. I would check the heat setting first, though I doubt it is going to be the prob.

There is a little "o" ring in the shower inlet that is designed to collapse as the pressure increases, limiting flow. You can safely remove this and then have un restricted flow.
