Same as above. The T5 worked perfect yesterday and today it will not turn on. Tried resetting by pushing the button on the back but no joy. Any ideas?

    My Palm has similar problem:
It works fine but when I carry it around all day, it sometimes goes dead and nothing (including all resets) will re-start it. It seems that after a few days (maybe once the battery has run completely flat?), it will start up on cradle (charging) with factory settings and all data lost.

When I let it sit on a desk, it seems to be working fine without any problem. It seems like moving it around causes a short.

I am tempted to change the battery but I am not sure it would cure the problem?

    Thanks for your advices

Tried to turn it on-nothing, tried both hard & soft reset, nothing. Charged for days. Nothing. Looking for instructions on how to change battery own my own but read elsewhere that it is a nonreplacable lithium ion battery.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

The best thing to do is to go to the free palm chat service they offer. I have used this and it worked good for me. Here is a link to the free chat service. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a Palm Chat. From there click on the link that says Chat Now and follow the online prompts. Best wishes...I hope this will help you.

The Palm TX handheld will not turn on. It looks dead. Maybe just the battery is dead. Where I can find the battery

Hi,
I have a PalmOne Tungsten T5.
I'm not familiar so much with the TX, but does it not have a charger? I have to charge mine periodically.

T5 is frozen on the "Palm Powered" screen

Remove the battery and let the palm sit for a day, reconnect the battery and do a hard reset. To remove the battery, you need a Torx T5 screwdriver. Carefully remove the cover making a note of the location of all the buttons in the case. The battery is connected by a mini 2 pin connector, just disconnect the battery by gently wiggling the connector and pulling.

Palm Tungsten t5 WiFi

I suspect that you're in fact holding a Palm TX and not a T5 as the T5 does not have WiFi. If you're using the Palm SD WiFi adaptor, do a hard reset without the card.

(hold down the ON/OFF button whilst using the reset pin to press the reset button. You'll be asked if you are sure you wish to reset. You'll then be prompted to choose the language caliberate the screen etc..)

After that. Go and download all the updates and drivers from Palm Web site.
