Hi there,
we have an electrolux turbo 16830 washer/dryer. The washing cycle is working perfectly but the dryer cycle doesn't. It appears to be working (ie drum is turning) but is only blasting out cold air. We have tried cleaning the drain pump but still no luck.
Have you got any suggestions. Thank you
Has the little belt on the dryer turbo come off? or is the turbo seized - it should turn freely by hand. You may need to replace the turbo fan if the belt keeps coming off - the pulleys can get out of alignment, ie not running parallel to each other - they tend to be cheapo plastic construction these days. Could also be dryer elements or thermostat problems, or blockage with lint causing reduced air flow and overheating - but check belt first.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean (ref users' manual). There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it, six inches maximum. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Rate me pl.....if helped. Click on 'thanks for trying' if not helped, your prob will be back for someone else to solve.

There are three main possibilities here. Firstly there may be a blockage that is stopping the water from flowing. Secondly there may be an item stuck in the pump chamber. Lastly the pump itself may be seized up. On machines that have their waste pipe connected under the kitchen sink it is always worth checking that the plumbing is not blocked with fat or lint at this junction. Check for kinking of the waste hose, this may of course release itself if you pull the machine forward. As for blockages and obstructions inside the machine itself it would be difficult to give any real guidance as there are so many models. If the pump is seized or defective the solution is nearly always the replacement of the whole pump.
SOURCE: E10 & E20 problem
e10 problems refer to water supply..so check the tap is on, the inlet hose is not kinkrd, and the filter in the inlet hose is not blocked. e20 refers towater drainage, so check the drain hose isn't kinked and the drain pump isn't clogged

check the drain filter is clear / pumping efficiency good. possible blockage in side chamber on righthand side. fan motor assy on top of chamber may be faulty. a condensing water valve could be faulty its the dual cold valve that the cold hose connects to without it you just get a steam and hot clothes.
