Set bios for 2hdd

You don't need to set master and slave in the bios.
On IDE hard drives you make sure the jumpers on the hard drive are set to master and slave. It usually tells you which connectors the jumper needs to be on, on the drive where the data cable and power lead plug in. You don't need to do it on SATA drives.

Bios password

To Reset the BIOS Password, Remove the CMOS (Coin-cell) Battery from the motherboard for five minutes and restart the system. This will load the factory default settings and the password would be gone.

Bios defult to erase system passowrd

You can only change supervisors password in BIOS by entering blans(spacebar) to reomove that password but you cant change your windows password. For that you will have to login with a different user and then delete/change the earlier password. Other repair the OS from its original disc and make sure where you enter the passwords....Do not try to add supervisor password in BIOS, thats very deceptive....sodeep

HP AMD Desktop beep noise

HP BIOS beep codes
http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/eng/support.html

Because Hewlett-Packard (HP) uses a variety of motherboards and BIOSs, their computers use a variety of beep codes. Instead of listing each model's beep codes, links are provided to the support pages of several popular Hewlett-Packard desktops.
Note: Hewlett-Packard and Compaq merged in 2002 and the new company dropped the Compaq name from all but a few consumer product lines--such as Presario desktops and notebooks. This table lists only HP-branded desktops, while the next table lists Compaq-branded machines.
