Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Hey,I've asked a few friends but they all gave me the same answer "i don't know" When i play Call of duty Modern warefare or call of duty Word at war After like 1 Level of play it disconnects me and says you must be signed into X-box live to play X-box live matches, well i was signed in and all when i went to test my connection one day it said my Modem is strict and that its not letting enough information threw to process everything,so everytime i gain a rank or unlock Perks and new weapons and it disconnects right after or before my memory card can save that info i gained it deletes all my perks and rank and weapons I have no clue how to open those ports they say to open to play call of duty and what not all i figured out is that something about "NAT" and that my modem is strict and to open Ports to make X-box live work I need some help considering i have to the end of January to play X-Box live,But the stupidest thing is if i leave the game on the main menu of Call of duty It like charges then i get to play 2,3 level's or so before it does disconnect then at least i get to rank up but thats the only way so far after having the game for a week or so I've gained the rank of staff sergeant but it took me that whole week I would be at rank 55 by now if it didn't disconnect me so many times,But if i don't get any help to open those ports or any info on how to fix the problem then its no point on having call of duty or any online game for that matter,If anyone can help me i couldn't thank you enough,If you want more info on how to fix my problem here's my E-mail.
Google the ports for the xbox 360 and xbox live, then set your router to forward those ports to your xbox, also manually set your xbox's ip address so it dosent change and your ports won't have to be re-configured.
