SOURCE: Can this tablet (genius newsketch 1212HRII ) work

No, the only available drivers for this tablet are for Win9x systems - they didn't provided any driver for any full 32 bit OS, not even Win NT.

SummaSketch III drivers to work with Autocad 2004 and Windows 8

To use AutoCad with almost any digitizer, summasketch included it is recommended you download the driver from this site: http://www.vtablet.com only works with serial interface and costs +- $60 however they do allow u to use it for free for 30 days.
If u need a USB to serial that WORKS for your computer head to www.interworldna.com and search for the usbadpt adaptor
Hope this helps

My G-Pen 4500 tablet won't work after I upgraded my photoshop to CS5.1 but it works perfectly fine on photoshop CS2. I'd already tried re-installing the driver and changing the compatibility... Please

The best way to get out of that trouble is to uninstall all CS applications and re-install the one you would like to use. CS5 came with alot of new features and in a way, upgrading CS1 to CS5 would surely give you a bit of a headache.

Games won't work after Genius Driver installed.

The problem with the genius driver is that it ***** up directinput. Try running dxdiag and you'll see that it hangs on directinput device enumeration. The only possible solution that I found is uninstalling both the driver and the macro key manager. Everything goes back to normal after that (at least the games don't hang anymore). The above is true for vista, things can be totally different on xp.

I't seem's that is no XP driver for this product, and the Pc tell's me that the tablet is not found (rs232)...

For the question, the adaptor output is 5V, 350mA, positive is the center pin of the connector on the sub-d9.

I hope this helps you, and sorry for my bad english, I'm French.

Try here, this is the company's website, I downloaded there the version of the driver for XP, once you're in the site, click on "product", then on the section "tablet", once there you just have to search for your tablet model and click on "more", it will sen you to the specifications of your tablet, and there you will find the download section, you just have to pick the operative system you're using and then click on "download" to get the driver you need.

Could not find Windowx XP Driver for MousePen 8x6!

Hello,

You are getting this message as this product is tested for Vista Only. However that does not mean that it wont work on the XP. You can continue the installation even when you are getting this message and it should work fine on the computer.

Hope that helps

Regards,
Sammy

Serial to usb wacom tablet problem

I just got Vista and it killed my Intuos2 w/serial to usb also, but here's a half solution:
Download Wacom driver 4.78-6 http://www.wacom-europe.com/int/downloads/driver/driver.asp?lang=en. Make sure you remove any other Wacom drivers, tablet, and reboot. Install 4.78-6 driver and select serial port when the choice pops up. Plug in your tablet with the serial to usb adapter, wait a few seconds and click retry. Complete the install and reboot.
Your Wacom tracking should work now, but certain things might not work like pressure sensitivity and you'll get annoying error "reinstall driver" pop-ups.

I think you can aslo buy a PCI-serial card for your computer and skip the serial-usb adapter since Vista doesn't support the adapter for Wacom tablets.. but I'm not sure if there's a working Vista serial Wacom driver either.. or ever will be. The age of XP and Legacy support is at an end my friends.
