Re: Radio wont work (brand new mp3 player)

Correct.... the FM Tuner relies on the headphone cable, to act as the FM antenna. Using headphone/earphone will allow the initial lock onto your favourite presets (providing you are in range of your stations). The headphones only operate when external speaker is closed. When speaker is open, headphones will turn off.

Some of these mp3 players use the headphone wiring as the antenna...are you pugged in? also try removing the batteries for 30 minutes, and then restarting

How do I record FM radio programs and transfer them to my computer?

unfortunately, the voice recorder works only as voice recorder, it cannot play FM and record it at the same time. though you can play fm radio from another device and record it using your SanDisk mp3 player.

To transfer your recordings from your mp3 player, connect your device to your PC.

Open "My computer" from your PC and you'll there "your Sansa Player"

Double-click on "your Sansa Player", then open the "Music" folder, then, open "Recordings" folder.

You'll find all your recordings on that folder.

Mp3 player 4gb capacity/fm radio

Hi peobles78,
What is the model and brand of your mp3 player? It should be written somewhere on the body. If you can't retrieve that info, best way would be to ask any gadget loving teenager.
Now first try searching online for the brand, this should lead you to their support website. If you query your model at the site, it should lead you to a download page of the instruction manual. Hope this helps.

1. Select FM Radio from the Main Menu.
2. A radio frequency menu will appear.
3. Press |<< or >>| to adjust and search for the desired frequency, or select

Radio doesnt work

Make sure the headphones are connected, since they are the antenna. If you are in an indoor area, the potential for picking up stations is greatly reduced.
