My Phillips Plasma TV (42PF9966/10) went dead over the weekend. I was watching it and it just shut down (no bang). Now no power when switched on (No red/blue lights). The 10Amp Plug fuse is fine. Any thoughts ?

Not sure what type of diode this is but a picture of it can be found in the link below. It's pretty small compared to most black w/ gray band zener diode's. It's has two bands both red with the outside band wider then the other. This diode came from a TV power supply board. I would really like to know what type and a proper repalcement or this diode.

I have a Samsung HP-S4253 Plasma TV. It is dead...no sound or picture!! I have read on this site that the problem can be solved by replacing the 3300uf 10v capacitors. I looked on the Power Supply board but can't find anything with that number. How do I located these capacitors so I can replace them?? Please email me at joan@goldbear.com. Thank you for your help.
