Speakers, no sound

Since they were working, check the basics first.
  1. Check the speakers on another device. Mp3 player will work fine.
  2. check the sound card on your computer (use a set of headphones or another speaker set).
  3. If you find they weren't plugged in, powered on, etc. resolve that. Usually the power plugs are black, and only fit in one spot. The audio cable to plug into the computer is similar to a headphones jack (3.5mm). On most computers the audio output (speakers) port is colored green.
  4. If none of these get you fixed, go into the control panel and click the sounds icon. From there you can view your volume levels (is the sound muted?), view your playback device (it might have a hardware problem, or be disabled), and test the settings.
  5. If you are still stuck after this please also post your version of windows, and the make/model of your computer. If you know it, the type of audio device you are using would also be helpful.
Thanks for asking, and Good Luck!

I just bought these speakers one month ago and they already don't work. The one speaker works, with the green line. The one with the red line doesn't.

Often the cab;es aren't quite plugged in all the way or get broken.

ALSO check your mixer panel in the computer that the "pan" control is set to the middle for the speaker output. Usually right click the speaker icon to get to the mixer panel.

No sound output except for during test.

Did you check in control panel on the status of your audio settings?

Open audio devices in control panel. click on advance , then click on the drop down bar and select 5.1 . click apply, then OK then and close it .
post if that does not do it.

First unplug the speakers, and then go to the page of the manufacturer's,.
if you cannot find the disc with the drivers.,and download s new copy of the drivers..
Then install it and then shut down the computer and plug in the speakers.. that should do IT.

Hello...Well basically it has been 2-3 days that my speakers dont produce any sound. I tried to check from the Conrol Panel in the sound and sound devices icon and it was saying that: There is no sound...

It sounds like you've uninstalled your sound driver. You can do one of several things to try and get it working again:

Search for the driver CDs that came with your computer. They would very likely have the correct sound driver.

Find the model of your motherboard (You can download a program called CPU-Z that will do just that), and search the manufacturer's website for the drivers.

Try performing a System Restore, though I'm not certain that would actually work without messing other things up.

Good luck.

I completely unplugged my speakers. And uninstalled all the hardware for my speakers. Then restarted my computer. Then inserted my format disc for my speakers. Reinstalled it. Using all automatic speaker settings. And they work fine now.
