Dear Sir .
Currently your mobile ringing tone is set at low ringing volume level.Thats why you are facing this problem. To increase your ring tone sound follow these step :
Select Menu > Settings > Tone settings and from the available
Select Ringing volume . Set Ringing volume to level 2 or above, your phone rings with the volume ascending from level 1 to the level for incoming calls.
I hope this will works for you.
I had the same problem with mine. when I would go to tone settings every time I tried to hit ring tone it would turn off the phone and restart, by the way in ring tone it was blank. No matter what I did it wouldn't work. So I went to settings then restore factory settings entered the code. It reset the factory settings, then when I went back to tone settings the ring tone said Nokia Tune so I hit enter and it gave a list of all other ring tones, then it worked so my phone finally rings.... Hope it works for you.
If your phone notify the incoming calls by vibration or ring tone then you just have to change the LCD of your phone. But if it is not ringing the ring tone for incoming calls then your phone may have big problem like dead.So in this case you should go to any service center to save your phone.
Unclear if you're using the TMobile ring tones or some that you have downloaded (or created). BION, I got longer ring times by using longer ring tone recordings. (I got mine from free sites on the net, most tones created by people from their music collections.) If you are using ring tones that aren't from T-Mobile, switch to a TM ring tone and see if that makes a difference. (If it does, then shop around for some new ring tones - the old ones were causing a problem.)
Another possibility is to check settings/phone/auto answer. Be sure this is set to "never." Also check Call Barring. Try having your blocking of incoming calls "off."
And last: put profile on "vibrate" and call yourself. Do you get more than one second of vibration? If you don't, then it's probably a phone malfunction, but if you do, it's a ring tone problem. Fairly easy to deal with. Good luck!
Hi Kathnicks2 Have you checked your profile if its in silent mode? Also check the settings and in that check if you have selected the incoming call alert as ringing or vibrate. You can also check if your mobile is ok by trying to listen to ring tones in general. So, if you are not able to just listen to ring tones, then you will have to meet a service person who can get it right for you.
If you set the profile ring tone to OFF. Then select a contacts' number and assign it a Ring Tone. When that contact calls you the Ring Tone you assigned will ring.
If you select the same Ring Tone for all your contacts in a group they will all sound the same when they call.
Or select the same ring tone for a profile, but cancel the Tone you assigned to the contact(s).
