As many of the clients getting the same problem tried their own to repair the printer onthemself but they cannot repair.also going to the serrvice center did not helped to the clients.on which printer there was a warranty period left they got replacement and the others were asked to pay for the repair.as this was the company default that customer is suffering.as i m also a repair person dealing with this printer reparing .got this problem many a times but was was not able to solve the problem also took many printers of my clients to the service center but they also did not help.but once what happened i opened the front cover and the cartridges came it to middle.there what i did i pressed all the parts slowly .also pressed the base where the cartridge moves .ipressed it tightly and then checked it.and the printer started workinng.it also helped some other printer to get to work.as for now out of 100 i made 20 printers getting proper by just pressing all the interparts tightly and firmly.take care do not apply too much force that the printer gets cracked internally.as i came in to the conclusion that this happens if any of the part gewts loosed from its orignal position this message shows up and this happens. please rate the session if it helps.

Audiophase CDplayer CD331T When I try to turn on the player the display says "open". I don't know what is open and I have brand new batteries. Thank u

wizofoz99, I'm working on an abused cd331t and also have the same "open" in the display.
If you open the top, as if to insert CD, look to the rear, near the right hinge, there should be a small post, molded into top cover. What do you see on the end of the post?

To the experts, have seen the interlock to be SW215. Is it an IR tx\rx or magnetic. I don't see anything on the end of the interlock post. Should there be a reflector or small magnet on the end? Please advise. I'm a tinkerer not an expert. Thanks in advance.

I can't open the changer--I think a CD is caught in it. now what? It says Open and makes a humming sound.

yes you are right , it is possible that a cd has got caugh in the mid transffer and got logged in. Unless it shifts to the end position to rest will it eject well. The humming you hear is the motor trying hard to eject. Open carefuly and look inside , do not use force but try to guide the cd carefully assisting it to slide within or out of the slot. Plase rrepeat this and tthe cd will free itselt and you will have a working set. Please check all cd again before reinserting as they may be warped. helpful Good day

My CD player stopped working...acts as if it is not getting power. When I push the CD button on the receiver, ''CD'' displays on the LED for a second then goes out. I just disconnected all the components...

Sadly I think the control and output chipset have gone and unfortunately aren't really worth fixing. You can get replacement parts, that aren't that expensive, but if you don't know what you are doing it's a mine field. To get someone else to repair it would probably cost the same as buing a new one. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(

Durabrand model cd-968 mp3 anti-skip cd player Does skip...

I understand what you are saying. The Durabrand is very cheaply made and the ani-skip actually does not work near as long as stated by company. I would buy more expensive player or a different brand.
Look for 60 Second Anti-Skip if you want a good one.

Cd dont revolve in player

This sounds like a problem with the CD motor. As CD players get used a lot, the motor gets worn down and eventually stops working. If you get a lot of dust in the player, this can also slow down or stop the motor. If you feel like frankensteining the CD player, you can try and see if there is any dust. If you like this perticular cd player, I would suggest going to a electronics repair shop and have them take a look, but with the prices of portable CD players these days, you might be better of just getting a new one. You may even find one with better features at a lower price.

Stop playing

Try cleaning the inside of it. Dust and what not can wreak havoc on electronics. That's cool, I used "what not and wreak havoc" in the same sentence. Hope this helps.

Innovage photo keychain

try this. it worked for me. found it on amazon.com:

16 of 16 people found the following review helpful: stars-3-0._v47082372_.gif Not bad, once you figure it out, December 4, 2007 By zorra007 (Las Vegas, NV USA) - See all my reviewsI decided to review this because I had a hard time figuring out how to use this, and I basically pieced it together based on other reviews. Consider this a "how to" for those PC owners who are frustrated and don't want to take it back:

1) Go to mscustomercare.com, click on "Innovage Digital Photo Keychain," then download the "Photo Viewer Install." Try to save the .zip file to your desktop for easy finding/access.

2) Once it is downloaded, open the .zip file, click on "photo viewer" folder, then click "setup." Let the program run. It will put an icon on your desktop called "Photoviewer." Don't bother clicking on that right now.

3) Plug in the USB cord, then plug in the device. A blue screen will pop up on the device. (If it doesn't, then click the power button first). Choose the "USB Charge" option. Allow the device to charge for at least an hour. [The booklet says to let it charge up to 7 hours first, but I found that this isn't necessary].

4) After an hour (or longer), click the power button on the device. Another blue screen will pop up, along with some options. At this point, you can program the date and time.

5) Next, unplug the USB from the device, then from the computer. Then re-plug in the USB cord into your computer, and then into the device. Then turn on the device. Choose the "USB Update" option. At this point, your computer should automatically detect the device as storage hardware, and will automatically configure itself. (I have Windows XP, btw.)

6) After the computer finishes configuring itself, you will be able to open the Photoviewer program. (As you probably know, most people say that trying to open the program before doing this will result in a "no program detected, will terminate" or similar message.) Anyway, if all goes well--which it should--the program will open and you can then upload your pictures onto the device. It's really quite easy and self-explanatory.

7) A good rule of thumb is to save all of your pictures in a folder, in the order you want them to be on the device. Perhaps even better would be to resize or photoshop them before hand for maximum viewing quality. For example, the pictures I have that are close-up headshots look really great and fit nicely/clearly, while the ones I have of lots of people are not so clear. In fact, you can barely see some people's faces.

8) Once you are done cropping and adding your pictures, hit "synchronize" and it will put them on the device. Once it finishes, it will tell you. Just close the program then, and safely remove the hardware from your computer (click on the icon on your computer tray). Once you safely remove it, I prefer to just plug it in again, and choose "USB Charge," until the battery is fully charged and the light is green.

So, with some planning and patience, this device can work out pretty well. It took some time to figure this out, but I am happy to pass it on, as knowing this would have saved me some serious time. I am quite happy with it, and will be sending it to my cousin who is serving in the Marines in Iraq. :)

Blinking "disc" error

Hi Lambo, 1) Your disc may be bad: scratches on surface, the surface maybe dirty, the disc is maybe bended,... Try with other discs, if the error occurs see next steps. If not, the initial disc was bad, but don't throw away, you may be able to clean it. 2) The Laser-optics in your Walkman can also suffer: - open your Walkman as if you would load a disk; look inside and you will see a little lens inside: clean it by using a ear-cleaner ( little stick with cotton on one or both ends). First dip the cotton end in some pure natural alcohol ( ethyl) and wipe very carefully over the little lens surface 3) The drive-mechanism of the Laser may also be cause; the only thing you can do on the field; the little lens ( see 2 ) normally should be near the end of a channel which you can recognize as the cut-out of the plastic . While reading a CD the lens moves thru this channel. You can try to push very softly this lens towards the nearest end of the channel. It often helps. 4) The Laser can be to its end of life; you can ask to change the opto-electrical mechanism, but I'm afraid it will cost you nearly as much as a new player; if you can buy a second hand might be even cheaper. Important for the future: - don't write with markers on discs; these texts release small quantities of fumes on laser-lenses - smokers pollute also with nicotine-fumes their lenses and discs Hope you can get nice music ASAP; let us know

How to put the spring in

are you saying the spring to the door fell out and this is the second time??? how was it replaced the first time as a spring should not just fallout unless its dropped and a boss is broken off. ( a boss is a small plastic piece that would hold the spring in place.) This is a hard call unless you get the mechanical diagram as I dont have and they are all made differantly.
