Recorded on Olympus DS-2300 and do not have the disc to download and listen recording on my laptop. How can I do this? Thanks.

Not used the DS-2300, but if the design is anything like as sensible as the one on my old WS-200 (and Olympus are usually pretty good about this sort of thing), you may not need any sort of disk at all.

Try plugging the device into a USB port on your laptop (the DS-2300 should come with a USB cable). Let it settle for a couple of minutes, then open "My Computer".

With any luck, the DS2300 should appear there as a new removable disk drive, from which you can copy the files onto your hard drive, or listen to them using (eg) Windows Media Player.

Motorola Ming A1200

The easiest solution for this problem is to use a wireless bluetooth connection instead of the usb connection. I have had the same phone for at least a year and a half and have never gotten the usb connection to work. Use a buetooth adapter for your computer and set up the connection with the wireless settings and it will work, it might take a little longer, but it will definately work.

The green is a data/power cable that can be used by itself if your USB port can provide enough power to power the drive. If the one port does not provide enough power by itself, you can plug in the blue connector as well to provide additional power for the drive.

Can the e800 USB-host feed a 500mA Harddisk?

You may need to look up the hard drive on the manufacturers web site. They should list the spec's, including power requirements. In theory, sounds good though - anything to eliminate a power brick is good. Do you already have a hard drive you're thinking of using? If so, please post the drive model, manufacturer, etc - I can look it up at work in our files.
