Its not a 100% successful option as there is not a single solution that will clean the head 100% but removing the head and cleaning and keeping the lower part that is from where the ink comes out from the head in a isoprophyl for near to 2 -3 hours.solved the issue for many users but they get the same problem return in next month or two.also check out if the head is severly jammed or clogged going for a new head is much better choise.

Inkhead clogged. Have tried deep cleaning several times. Cyan just won't print even though it is a new cartridge

Inkjet printers do not like being left unused.
The print head may be blocked. Try several deep cleaning of the print head to see if it can clear the blocked print nozzles.
If none of this works then the print head needs to be replaced.
A new cartridge will not solve this problem.
NOTE the print head is not a cheap item, you may consider putting the money towards a new and better printer.

If your printheads are dried out you will need to replace the printhead. If the printhead is built into the printer it is time to replace the printer or contact Brother directly to see if you can get a replacement printhead for this model.

Printer does not print a proper testprint only two or three colors printing. printhead may be damaged cleaned the printhead several times. and try to make testprints but no result.

You have an interesting printer ! I have two of them. Same problem. Basically to use ink refills one must have a chip reset utility. The cartridges are filled from the bottom and consequently leak if not sealed properly. The only solution is to use the blue grey plugs that come with some refill kits- Dell Refill kits have them - but only give you three. The next best is to use black electrical tape heated with a lighter then applied after the fill. What appears to happen is that the ink indicator may say there is ink but the cartridge is actually dry. Additionally I have found some new cartridges seem to have a vent problem - what happens is a vaccuum is created in the cartridge on head cleaning and a color will print, then not print , then the next one will do the same. Some brand new cartridges have chips also that the printer does not recognize. The solution is to use a chip reset tool and the old chip from the empty cartridge on the new one. There is a software called SSC Service Utility that works for deep cleaning and also resetting the ink pad counter - it will stop printing if the pad counter runs out. Basically if it refuses a nozzle check print - it is not getting ink or has no ink left.

Video heads clogged - don't get cleaned with cleaning cassette

This needs to be solved at the shop if your product is under warranty.
If you are adept at opening gadgets do this
Get a bottle carbon tetra chloride
Dip an end of ear buds and clean the heads without touching any plastic parts. Carbon tetra choloride dissolves plastic. The head look like a small "_" on the cylinder. There will be 2 of them

The blue colour dosn't print.

They make kits you can buy in a store for refilling ink. Lots of these kits come with head cleaner.
