Different climate condition

Hi i intend to take a side by side fridge from the UK to sunny Cyprus, i was told that because of the different climates it may not work correctly in the summer. Cyprus reaches 40 deg (out side temp in the summer). I think uk has type N thermostat? If so what type thermostat will i need?

thanking you in advance.

Unless you plan on putting this unit outside or on your porch, then the outside temps wont matter. refr's are designed to work from 50 f to 110 f, sorry dont know the conversion to celcius, but if it will be inside then you wont need to change anything.
during the hot times the unit will just run longer to keep the food cold and it will be fine.

Have a 2011 Mercury Milan and it's blowing cold air from the passage side and hot from the drive what can I do

Check the climate control settings because on that model it allows for different settings on each side. It is possible to set it to have heat on one side and none on the other and that may be what has happened.

Get out the owners manual and go through the climate control functions carefully and reset them in the car when the engine is running.

If you don't have an owners manual then you need to get one as without it you will have difficulty setting up some of the climate settings properly.

Why did the passenger side of the dual climate control on my Buick Lucerne only start blowing cold air? Have no heat on that side, just air conditioning works.

May b a blend door issue..
If its electronic unit then maybe a actuator gone bad
If controlled by vacuum then a broken/loose hose
Does that side change from different settings(dash/floor/defrost even)= blend door issue usually

How often does synthetic blend oil need to be changed

Depends to the climate you do have and the distance you do have traveling. For my Country Cyprus which is a hot climate between 40-45 celcious I recommend the oil change every 3000 miles not more.

2001 Cadillace SLS air conditioning

It sounds like you have "zone" climate control. With "zone" climate control you can adjust the driver, passenger and sometimes other "zones" to different temperatures for the comfort of all passengers. Make sure that the Driver side is set to a cool temperature. If it is then you more than likely have a problem with the temperature controller for the driver side.

What is a driving glove?

It protects the hands of the driver and provides better grip and control of the vehicle. Reduces Hand Fatigue and the vibrations from your wheel that tire the hand when driving for long periods of time.
There are the different type of motorbike gloves, you can choose one depending on the climate condition and your needs.
For extream cold condition, battery heated gloves ( Beheizbare Handschuhe ) are the best option.

Here can i locate the heat in a 87 voyger

Hi Kutis, Could you give us more information? I believe your referring to the cabin climate heat control. What belt did 'they' change? if was the belt for the AC? If it was I believe you may have the Air Conditioning running on cooling instead of heating? Look at the dash climate controls and you will see one for the AC control. If it is illuminated press the button to disengage it and the heat should work. If it was a different belt we need to know which one was replaced? We also need to know what else was done? Regards John

If your climate control is switching itself off or resetting then it is probably the control module itself which is faulty. Luckily there is a common fault which is easy to repair yourself using the information below. If you don't feel comfortable repairing it yourself and you are in the UK then I recommend you visit who offer a repair service for £35

If you find than the fan is not coming on or is coming on at a low speed then check to make sure the microfilter is not blocked. If it is not blocked or the fan problem is intermittent then it is probably the climate output stage which has failed. This is located behind the glovebox by the center console.

A good article about fixing the climate control module can be found at

2004 chevy tahoe, dual climate control, blowing different temps

Its more then likely the temp door broken or temp door motor broken/stuck. There is 2-3 of these motors under the dash on the side of the evap/heater core box. Some require extensive labor to replace, good luck
