Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
I read in the manual using cold water could be the problem which I wash alot of my clothes in hot water and then again I heard that a belt could be broken. Please help
Unless your washer is over 20 years old, then it wont have a belt. the temperature of the water wont have anything to do with it spinning or not.
need to know if it agitates or drains and just wont spin.
if it agitates but no spin or drain, then you have a bad lid switch.
if it wont agitate or spin, but will drain, then you have a broken drive coupling.

I went to take clothes out of machine and found were still wet on bottom. A towel was wedge under the agitator and had to be forcefully pulled out. Now machine will do everything but spin.It appears to sound normal. Is this a coupler problem ?

My Kenmore 80 Series washing machine fills with water and drains. It does not agitate or spin. It stared with banging when it would stop spinning. What could be the problem?
