My washer is displaying D while flashing the letter r after it what is wrong?

I have found 2 answers to your question as posted by other FixYa folks, so I want to make sure they get the credit!!
The first is from Rylee Smith and the response is:

The error code "dr" means that the Water is not draining out of the washer.
Make sure the drain hose is not kinked and is connected properly. You need to Straighten the drain hose and make sure washer is not sitting on it.And the Top of drain outlet should be less than 8 ft. (2.5 m)above floor. Check these and please let me know if it works.

The second response is from taran_2005 and is:

i confirmed the informed with my friend who is expert with GE. He told me regarding the error DR and spin issue :-
Your pump is either bound up with something in the chamber, or there is something in your discharge hose blocking the water from escaping.
Look on the back of the washer, and unscrew the circular port in the bottom right corner. (Keep an 8x13 baking pan underneath, water will escape once you open the chamber). Check if there is anything in the chamber that is binding the impeller. If not, remove the metal back and check that all three of the hose connections to your pump are open and have no debris/ change, etc. If there is nothing binding your pump in any of those locations, your pump motor may be failing.

I hope those help!

There is a water leak but does not appear to come from the attached hose, nor does it appear to be coming from the door as the water appears to be coming from under the maching

youve got a cracked drum that needs to be gooped up. its easy to do, just pull the back off the machine apart then remove all the wiring to gain excess, once youve done this remove the plastic drum and goop the crack

Water won't drain out

if you pull the back off the machine and see where the drain pipe hooks up that will be the pump. it is probable clogged. take the time and a couple of simple tools and disassemble and get the goop out of it and reinstall. should work wonders. good luck

Comes up with code F 2

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

your f2 error means Long Drain

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and "F/02" is flashed.

NOTE: After 4 minutes the "Sud" error will be displayed, then 4 minutes later the F02 error code will be displayed.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.

* Check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked.
* Check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is running.
* Check the drain pump filter for foreign objects.
* If the above does not correct the problem, replace the pump.
