Hello! Dan Busa with Dish Network here. I know you've probably gotten this up and running by now but just for reference to anyone on this site. Any cabling or connectors used to carry signal to the receiver should be rated for 2,150 mhz if this is not the case you will typically get signal loss messages.
Are you still having problems with your 625 receiver? It sounds like you are getting a 024 error message. When you unplug the receiver and plug back in, do you ever get a 311 error message? If you are still having problems, the receiver may need to be replaced. I would be happy to further assist you if you would respond back to this site.
If you are still experiencing problems with your 625 receiver performing live DVR functions, try unplugging the receiver for about 10 seconds and plugging back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and acquire satellite signal. After the picture returns, then try to pause. If it still doesn't work, then we may need to replace the receiver. I hope this helps.
When you try to use the DVR features, do you get an error message (024 or 311)? Have
you unplugged your 625 receiver yet? If not, unplugged the receiver
for about 10 seconds and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to
reboot and acquire satellite signal. When the picture comes back on,
try to pause. If it still doesn't work, we may need to replace the 625
receiver. I hope this helps.
The 024 message means the hard drive itself is having problems functioning correctly. Try a hard reset where you unplug the receiver for 10-15 seconds and plug back in. If the problem persists a replacement may be necessary.
More than likely the download was interrupted. Take bot remotes and turn off both tuners. When this is accomplished the blue and geen light will be extinguished. Now you will need to wait about thirty minutes for the receiver to turn back on. When it does it should immediately go to downloading software when this completes you should get a new program guide to download. The process is a bit time consuning but should resolve your issue. Thanks for using Fix Ya.
