GE washing maching model #whdsr316g1ww

This machine sometimes will be filling up and the water will just continue to pour in. If I stop the cycle, the water will just drain out. Obviously for some reason the basket does not always hold water. It just decides to drain when it is filling

You should check how you have the washer draining if the hose is too low or connected directly to the plumbing it will give you the siphon problem that you are experiencing.

Doesnt agitate or spin.

Mine is 1 1/2 years old and this worked for me

unplug from power for at least 30 seconds

turn the dial to spin but don't pull out

plug back in to power and open and shut completely so switch is engaged solidly 11 times in 15 seconds.

pull out knob to turn on

This should clear a error code.

hope it helps!

for model: WHDSR316G1WW General Electric Washing Machine

Unplug the machine at least 30 seconds
Turn the dial to the spin cycle, but do NOT pull it out yet.
Plug the machine back in and then lift and close the lid 11 times within 15 seconds and finally pull the knob to start the washer on spin cycle.

GE wcxr1070a washing machine. fills with water

Check the water level switch and the plastic tubing to the switch.
Sometimes soap scum stops up the plastic hose and the water level switch does not close to send power to the timer.
If the plastic hose is good and the water level fills and stops replace the water level switch.

Whirlpool washer continuouse water water runninng into tub

try turning the mach off while it is spinning and filling.if it continues to fill or drip heavy, the mixing valve is not closing completely and needs to be replaced.if the water stops when the mach is turned off, there is a problem with the pressure switch.

Washer continues to fill after full, then spills all over floor until manual shut off

This is an indication of a pressure switch malfunction. Post back with your washer brand name and model number and I can tell you how to check it.
