Re: is there away to take the tv apart
You can take the cack off the tv and maybe get it up there but the base dosent come loose they made them in one piece so they couldnt be taken apart.as far as a cord you would need to go to a tv repair shop to see if they have one

Try muting the sound on the tv, if it is a loose circuit the sound vibration can jiggle a connection and cause the tv to turn off as apart of its safety feature.
if the tv functions correctly while in mute then you now know it is a loose circuit.
if the tv continues to turn off even while in mute it is shutting down by the main power stand by safety feature, it may need a new main transformer.
if the muted sound solved the problem then unplug the tv and look in the back for the main transformer, the manufacturer usually places the main board on the box of the main speaker, the speaker could be vibrating a circuit loose from direct contact, the main transformer is heavy and would cause issues over the long run with high fadelity sound systems on big screen tv's. check solder points on main board.
pop the speaker grill off, then take out the 1/4 inch screws and remove the screen, if it's behind the screen, simply brust it away, if it's between the 2 screens, then you must take them apart and remove the body. also while your in there, clean the lenses and mirror with some windex, this will greatly improve your picture.
First, look for the source of the problem. Large speakers, especially
older ones, are the most common offenders. Notice the position of the blue spot on the screen (left, right, upper, lower, etc.) for an
indication of which direction the magnetic field is coming from.
If you think you have determined the source of the magnetic field, try
moving the object away from the television screen. If this does not
work, continue looking for other potential causes.
f you are unable to determine what is causing the magnetic field, try
moving the television. Sometimes magnetic interference can come from a
neighbor's equipment, especially in apartments and condos. Moving the
television to another part of the room, away from shared walls, may
If none of these techniques succeeds in removing or improving the
appearance of the blue spot, try to find if their is any demagnetizing coil button available in front of the TV panel , it may be symbol like magnet and a diagonal line on it
This blue is caused by magnetic fields. Either the speakers of tv is faulty or demagnatziser not working. Switch of tv and remove powercord from wallsockets. Leave for about 10 hours and plug in powercord and switch on. if demagnatiszr is working the blue will be gone. if not have youre tv demagnetized If hometheatre or radio speakers are closer than ½ meter this could also generate coulouration of screen. move speakers further away. If tv is on and and being moved your static electricity can also cause this. So switch of if if you move your tv.
it need to demagnetize using a demagnetizer or permanent magnet (PM). move the PM to the center of the tv then rotate it ccw make a round small circle to bigger circle as you move the PM away from the screen. But do not put speaker near the tv. You can also switch off the tv for a night then turn on again this process will demanetize the screen automatically but be sure no speaker put near the tv. If this will not solve the problem. it might be the technician forgot to refix the degausing coil or Thermostat.
If you put magnet speaker ( Standard speaker) near the TV, first you must move that speaker away from your TV because this will cause your colour TV screen color scattered. Then switch off your TV for 5 hrs. then switch it ON again your problem will be solved if the degaussing coil working.
Unfortunatly no there isnt. The tv bottom contains all the circuits, color guns, speakers. From where the bottom of the screen starts to the top is all part of the entire cabinet which is molded plastic. The top part contains a mirror and the screen you see as well as possibly a remote sensor. Short of sawing it in half and tossing it away you could take it apart but this would have to be done completely to gain you the most space and could be dangerous considering the high voltage transformer that the unit uses to power the color guns.
Usually have to pull the speaker grill off (friction fit), there will be some screws under the bottom edge of the screen, if there are wires you may have to unhook them, sometimes the plugs are behind a pannel that gets unscrewed from the front. The frame will come apart to drop the new screens in.
