Go to Start-> Run and type in devmgmt.msc and hit OK.
Do you see any exclamation marks/question marks in the list?
You'll probably need the UAA High Definition Audio Bus driver, should be available from your motherboard/computer manufacturer's website. You'll need to install this first, and then the actual drivers for the device. You should have sound then.

You must install both the software and the driver for the sound card. If you do not have it you can look it up by brand and model number and usually download it . If you can't find it , give us the make and model of the sound card orcomputer if "on board" sound.

Hello,

Check the connection between your speaker and your computer. You can also try using a headphone if it produces sound. If none seems to work, then scan your computer with RadarSync to check if the drivers are updated. If the sound driver is outdated, then you would need to update them. You can use RadarSYnc to update by it's not free but affordable and worth your money.

Ibm thinkcentre 8213 sound problem for windows 7 ultimate

Sometimes the drivers are not compatible with windows 7, their are different drivers for XP and windows 7 for same hardware. So use driver finder tool to find exact drivers for the hardware. Also try a system utility tool like Reginout to fix registry and windows errors to optimize pc, maybe due to registry errors the drivers are not working. hope problem is solved.

Hello

Ok, if you installed a clean copy of windows, you will probably need to install the sound driver in order for the sound to work again.

Kind regards

if you installed a new hard drive.. did you also installed windows on that new hd? if you did.. you may need to also install the sound card drivers.

the sound from your speakers depend on the sound card on your computer, and the sound card works only if you install the drivers that are specific for that sound card/computer. if you need help finding the drivers post back you computer specs (model, brand etc) and operating system and we'll help you find the drivers that may need to be reinstalled.
