SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

LG 50" plasma PDP50X4 only shows top half of screen, sound and top half of screen work fine....Help!

That's a relatively easy one - you have either upper or lower Y-Sustain buffer board gone bad.

if the last chip of the upper buffer has failed you may get what you get, even that this is a relatively rare type of failure.

The same would happen if the lower buffer is bad although this is again somewhat rare for a failure for those boards.

Either way you need a new buffer board and I'd start with the lower if I were you.

I assume nobody has messed up with the TV because another possible explanation would be the two buffer boards were disconnected from each other.

The best is they are neither too expensive nor hard to replace.

Hope this helps!

Oh, here's a link with something more about those boards although I am not sure it would apply to your particular case...use it as a good educational resource, but don;t expect to have the exact problem described there:

My tv lost its color and has a black spot on the screen, can I do to fix it?

Sounds like you YBU-YBL (Y-Buffer Upper-Lower) and the Y-SUS/Main is out. The Y buffer upper controls the top half and the YBL the lower half. The YSUS control all of this. The YSUS is also connected to of course the Power supply board and the logic board.

Lowrance 330c screen says '' boot failed''

Try a hard reset:

1. Turn the LMS-330 off
2. Press and hold the ZIN, ZOUT, and PWR buttons
3. Release the three buttons once you see the "warning, do not rely..." message appear

If you get that far, the problem is solved. If you get boot failed again, try installing the latest update which can be downloaded from http://www.lowrance.com/en/Downloads/Product-Software-Updates/

If you still get boot failed, you will need to get the LMS-330 repaired/replaced. You can contact Lowrance support at 800-324-1356 or email them by going to http://www.lowrance.com/en/Support/Product-Support/Contact/

Cannot access main menu or pages screen

I think I can help with your issue. I have an LMS 334c and have had a few issues in the past. Called the factory (this answer is not listed any where in your manual) and they instructed me to "Soft Re Boot" my unit and it would put everything back to factory settings. Try this anytime it does not respond for whatever reason.

Turn the unit off.

At the same time press the Pages and Power button. Hold both down until you see the square box come up in the screen. You should have your factory settings again. May need to try a few times.
Lowrance said it works just like a computer, ever now and then it just tries to disect to much information at one time and hangs up.
Good luck. James Cantwell

A "soft reset" can be accomplished by pressing and hold "Pages" key and press and hold "PWR" key till USA map comes on , then release both. A "hard reset" requires press and hold both "Z in" and "Z out" buttons and press and hold "PWR" button releasing all three when USA map appears.
