Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone
I have my iphone unlocked with version 2.0.2 and i've had it that way for about 4 months and all of a sudden its showing that i have no bars and it doesnt display a service, but it shows the bottoms of the bars if you know what i mean. then when i go into selecting a carrier, it will sometimes pick up at&t and t-mobile, but when i click on t-mobile, it just says that the carrier is no longer available. i've tried to unlock it again, but for some reason, i keep having problems with the program on my computer. im totally lost and in desperate need of help!
It may help to restore to firmware 2.2 and use quickpwn to do the unlocking. It may not even be required to unlock it again, an activation using quickpwn could be sufficient. If it doesn't get signal after that, you have a hardware issue (loose antenna or defective communications board). There are iPhone repair guides online that show you how to fix issues like that.

If you can do a full restore back to factory settings (re-locked? I don't know if you can even re-lock it... lol.. I haven't unlocked mine) and see if that works. If not, you may have an issue with the antenna/receiver unit in the phone. Apple should be able to verify the issue.
