Yeah i own ps2 never had pasword for dvd an its askin 4 one now an i never put one in. im 34 years old with no kids so no need for it... AN ITS NOT 0000 OR ANY 4 DIGIT LIKE 1111 2222 AN SO ON
"To clear the password that has already been set, press SELECT then 7444 when asked for a password. You will then be prompted to set a new password. Make it something easy like 0000. Then go into Custom Setup (the icon looks like a lock with a key hole). Go down to Parental Control. It will probably ask you for a password when you try to modify these settings, so enter 0000 (or whatever password you entered) when prompted. Go down to level, and set it to Off. Then you are done. You can exit the menus and return to playing your DVD."
Found this advice have not tested it myself

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
