I have a 46 inch doing the same thing. When it first powers up, no DTV. Analog fine. All other inputs fine. Play a DVD and then the DTV tuner warms up and works.

Have a Vizio VP50HDTV10A. DTV will not come one. Every once in a while I can get it to come on. However, it is rare.

I also have the same problem. Turning on yields no picture on HDTV tuner input, all other inputs work fine. Also, when I have no picture on HDTV tuner input, I am unable to switch to other inputs with the remote, I have to use the button on the side of the set. After a period of time, which varies from minutes to several hours, the HDTV tuner works fine.

I've had a Vizio L37 LCD HDTV for about 10 years. After about 5 years the HD tuner crapped out completely, but everything else worked fine. Found a tuner on ebay and installed it after watching a Youtube video. Wasn't too hard at all. Now the tuner is going again. (maybe they only last five years?). So for about $25 bucks you can find one on ebay.

How do I connect my Sansui 6010B VCR with an analog TV and a DTV tuner?

two ways of connecting VCR with Analog TV with DTV tuner.
DTV tuner (RF) output to VCR (RF) input,VCR (RF) output to analog TV (RF) input.
turn DTV tuner on (VCR should have a TV\VCR switch that makes signal coming from tuner BYPASS VHS right into TV) note:: change channel FROM tuner. You should be able to record by placing a blank tape and pressing RECORD.
2ND. DTV tuner, VCR, should have a RCA in\out connections...Audio & video. You need a RF\RCA bypass switch. It has a INput with RCA connections to a RF signal out that goes to the RF Input of analog TV

I want to connect our VCR to the new Sharp HDTV,but I do not find audio, video out on the tv.How do I link the two?

Some HDTVs can output analog video and audio but if you say your HDTV does not, then you would have to use some other tuner/box/decoder/converter such as a cable box if you have cable TV service or a DTV converter box for over-the-air TV or a satellite box. The VCR would connect to the tuner/converter box and record analog video and audio using the RCA yellow video and white audio jacks. Standard VCRs cannot record high-def video except as down-converted analog video.

The VCR would then connect to the HDTVs inputs (yellow, white) for playback.

Not able to scan for digital OTA channels on a JVC LT-32X667 LCD

Seeing as it does not have a digital tuner in it, I would think this would be the problem, you will have to get a box for it.

Tv tuner card in a hp m7434n

The white cable bundles (there are several) are for the front USB, Firewire, Analog Video and Audio cabling - none of what are required for your HDTV Tuner. The connections on the front of the HP Media Center allow for analog input (yellow, red and white RCA connectors) and some of the white wire bundles are for analog input (not on all HP PCs). Hope this helps...

WinTV-HVR-1600 Tuner card to DishNetwork receiver

Yes, but what it can connect to depends on what Dish DVR you have. The newer, HD ones only have HDMI, S-Video, and that 5-split coax as outputs for the main TV since you only get these box's if you have and HDTV.

This is because regular old coaxial is no longer good enough for them. This means you must connect the newer DVR's to the S-Video input on the Hauppauge1600 since it is the only input to the card the Dish DVR supports.

If your DVR is older and has the coax out, you can use that and connect it to the Hauppauge analog input.
