Here's the link for you to download, check if it matches yours. If not, u might need to clarify the model from the wireless card itself.

SOURCE: Thinkpad R51 wireless driver

On the bottom of most laptops, you can gain access to the WiFi card. If you can do this on yours, they usually have the name of the card on a label on the card. This will help you identify the card maker and you should be able to get the driver from IBM or "google" a driver based on that info. If that info is not clear, there should be an FCC ID # somewhere on the card. You can then go to www.driversguide.com and use the FCC ID to see if a driver is listed.

Hope this helps

Ibm r51 2887 wireless driver

The same model ThinkPad can have different types of network, video and audio drivers and unless you know exactly which one is installed in your ThinkPad, you need to download all the drivers and install each driver until you find the right driver. When you download the drivers, write down the device driver and it's file name so you have a record of which driver you are installing and which directory the unzipped files are located on your hard drive. Go to the IBM/Lenovo WEB site - support/download page and download the latest Windows device drivers for your model computer, Use this link: - http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/product.do?template=%2Fproductselection%2Flandingpages%2FbrowseByProductLandingPage.vm&sitestyle=lenovo&brandind=10&validate=true

I cnat connect online after recovery for thinkpad r51

check the driver if it's properly installed at device manager which is found in control panel. Look for the network driver and when you see a question mark or an exclamation point that means that you'll need to reinstall the network driver. Ask trained technicians for assistance.

Thanks and God Bless!:))
