Re: Light blue screen--No picture or sound
LGs crash a lot. Try resetting the power (unplug 1 min, replug) and wait about 30 seconds to let it boot up... THEN hit the power button. Hopefully this will fix, if not it probably needs a main board. Try checking all inputs and HD to verify all the parts of the main board. . i can help further..

Is this blue screen on all inputs (HDMI, etc.), or just on the one?
Does the remote control work, can you get the menu to display, is there any sound?
If no sound and picture, no menu etc., might be a software problem, the main PCB, or a missing voltage on this board.
Not sure what model you are talking about, but in general it would be helpful to check the setup menu on the TV. The menu will typically display regardless of the display settings. A factory reset of all the controls may help. (This is in the manual for your model #.) Also check the input cables as well as then input settings in the menu for each input you want to see on the screen.
The flashing green light is likely indicative of a self-test failure, indicating the TV has detected some sort of internal fault. With no picture or sound, one strong suspect is the power supply. Flat-panel TV's have an internal DC power supply that converts the inbound AC current, and when these fail, or are unable to supply a minimum level of power to the set, it can behave as you describe, providing only enough power for the green light to illuminate.
Resetting the TV If the buttons on the remote AND the buttons on the TV case do not work (channels do not change and you cannot open or navigate the menu), the TV has stopped responding. Reset the TV as follows:
NOTE: Some TVs have a reset button. If available and accessible, try using the reset buttons before using the steps below. Using the reset buttons can save time. 1. Unplug the TV power cord from the power outlet. 2. Unplug any connected devices (DVD, Set-top boxes, etc...) 3. Press and hold the TV power button for five seconds. 4. Plug the TV power cord back into the power outlet and turn on the TV. 5. Open the on-screen menu to confirm that the TV is responding again. 6. Turn off the TV and reconnect the devices. 7. Turn on the TV.
