Re: Jabra VBT2050 Bluetooth won't pair with LG Voyager
Something similar happened to mine. It worked for 2 months, and my phone received a message from jabra to reset pass key. It did not accept, and it stopped working with my phone. I tried everything. I was told to hold the power down for 10 seconds to place in pairing mode, that did not work. This did. Hold the volume up down and the answer button down at the same time for 7 seconds. You have to make sure they are all down or it will not work. You will see that the light will stay lit continuously. This means it is in pairing mode. Then place the bluetooth on your phone on. Tap find device at the top. It will then locate the jabra. Follow any other prompts. If it asks for a passkey, or code, 0000 will suffice. Hope this helps. I looked for almost an hour and a half for the answer.

In order to pair a BlackBerry device with a Bluetooth device, the
Bluetooth device must be in pairing mode. Most Bluetooth devices are not
set to pairing mode by default. Therefore, refer to your Bluetooth
device manual for instructions on how to set the device to pairing mode.
I have the env Touch and the Jabra Halo. Initially, I had a problem pairing the two, then I realized that I was not following the directions properly. The manual shows two sections for pairing ("first time pairing" and "later pairing"). I was following the instructions for the former when I should have been following the latter. I also failed to notice that the BT indicator was flashing blue and not solid blue, as it needs to be, for pairing mode. So, if you haven't already done so, follow the instructions for "later pairing" here. Make sure that you see the SOLID blue light on the BT indicator on the headset when you try to pair.
I have a Jabra VBT 2050 bluetooth headset. As per the product user manual(page 8) this device is compatible with any bluetooth mobile phones with bluetooth version 1.1 or higher.
My LG Shine CU720 mobile phone is not able to detect the VBT 2050 device. I checked the specification of mobile phone & its bluetooth 1.2. I am able to pair the VBT 2050 with other bluetooth mobile devices.
Could you help me resolve my problem. Appreciate quick help
The above solution only lacks one small item. Part of the pairing procedure is to hold the on/off button for the recommended 5 seconds to power up, but the light will NOT become constant until you hold both the power button AND the round center button on together until the light remains constant. Then you can pair the two devices.
ARE U FOLLOWING THE CORRECT PAIRING PROCEDURE pls follow this
ok here u go first turn on the bluetooth func in ur mobile, now while
ur bluetooth headset is off press the power centre big button for like
10 sec until the blue light stays on continously not blinking position
ok then search for bluetooth devices in the phone bluetooth config ur
headset will come up like JABRA VBT2050 select it then it will ask u
for pairing code input 0000 and press ok ur device is now connected u
will see the blue light which was continous b4 now blinking it means ur
haedset is connected , u have to complete this process in almost 1 min
bcoz there is a timeout for this process , now try any call u will hear
it in ur headset
Jabra VBT2050 - You have to hold the round button in until the light stays lit (about 20 seconds) this will put it in discoverable mode, the pin is 0000, I have AT@T service and it works just fine. Hope this helps out!
