Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this, is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

After clearing a paper jam, it now jams everytime I use it and crinkles the paper.

for this model, the drum unit have to be cleaned and free from dirt and toner.. and the common problem is the eject roller...they are located at the top of the printer, the long black roller with few hard rubber roller.. once this roller is harden, it will give paper jam problem..and the paper will crumble each time you print....especially when the printer have printed many pages... you will need to send it to the tech to replace the eject roller.

Once in a while the sheets of paper do get stuck while printing, sometimes I can hear the paper as it crumbled up while passing thru the rollers, what can I do to correct this and or stop it from...

I think the paper is crumbled at the backsite of the printer. This is mostly caused by the exitrollers. These are mounted at the back and top site of the printer. Replacing them sould solve the problem.

Printed fine then started to crumble paper like

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

It will not pull the paper all the way through to print. it will start to then the paper will crumble without going through the printer completely

make sure you using good quality paper and also when you inserting the paper not deep inside just insert and stop it when you feel any resistance .and try to print something. If it is print then well otherwise you have to show it service center.

if the paper is crumpling up then something is stopping the paper from moving check the paper path for obstructions. if your first set of feed roller are moving and the second set is not then this will happen also

Looks like toner is not sealed to the paper.

the machine is only designed for 80gsm paper. you can change paper type through printer options in printer manager to card stock. it wil probably not work though as it is really only designed for 80gsm paper. the toner need to be heated to 200oC inorder to fuse to the paper cardstock absorbs less heat than normal paper.

Paper jam

If it crumbles just before the exit, then the problem is with the fuser unit, there are 4-6 claws/teeth/scrapers that are supposed to help guide the paper out, when they wear out the catch the paper and turn them into accordions. Replace the claws, and check the heat rollers.
