Question about Magic Chef 31000 Gas Kitchen Range
My Magic Chef oven takes a very long time to ignite the main burner. A small amount of gas comes through the burner bar when turned on but apparently not enough to be ignited by the heating element which is working fine. Am I right in suspecting the safety valve and is this part repairable or just replace it? Is there a way to test it?
That could be rigth only if that ignitor is good,,,that ignitor has to glow bright orange,,if its weak,,which it sounds like to me,,the gas will take a long time to ignitor,,or dont ignite and you smell a wee bit of gas,,,onthejob
