If it is electric remove the metal plate that is about 1/3 from the top usually colored blue or whitethere is pull dome of the insulation out fof the way you will see red and blue wires going into the element and a plastic cover underneath the cover is a setting with an indicator it is usually adjustable with a thin flat head crew driver the indicator has high medium and low temp setting

Just turn indicator to temp desired

good luck

Is tankless computer older than 5 years? Imagine how well a 5-year old laptop computer works.

Setting temperature to 140 degrees might be the basic problem:
Read following resource:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html#temperature

I doubt this Takagi computer unit was maintained as shown in product manual, and that heat exchanger was not delimed each year as shown in product manual. So the heat exchanger is probably heavily coated with un-removeable scale... since yearly deliming will not fully remove scale on tankless units, the tankless computer is designed to sprial downward in efficiency despite glossy brochures that promise endless and effortless hot water for 20 years ... as if any computer will last 20 years:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html#de-lime

Since you are not getting error code, the problem might be crossover, or some other plumbing problem:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Rheem-Tankless-water-heater.html#no-error
http://waterheatertimer.org/Crossover.html

I always recommend replacing tankless computer with tank-type water heater for $385 for same-day do-it-yourself solution and to save the endless expenses that arise with computer-driven water heaters.

How do I turn the bottom thermostat down to 110 degrees. What should the numbers be?

Many times there are no numbers on thermostat since temperature settings are approximate.
Link below shows step-by-step temperature adjustment for typical tank-type gas and electric water heaters. Residential electric tanks can usually be set from 90 to 150, and gas from 50 to 150.

Use cooking thermometer at water heater drain valve for more precise reading.

I have a electric whirlpool 50 gal. energy saver water heater that is 3 months old. It keeps shutting off so i called whirlpool and sears came out and replaced the energy smart box on top. now it is...

the thermostat should be replaced it only has one on the upper eloement, it has the dial on it to set the temp, but if it is only 3 months old it comes with a 1 year parts 6 year tank warranty, if you call whirlpool and tell them about this problem they will have there own teck or sub contractor that they use to come out and fix it for free,,, first go to there web site and put in your serial number and it will tell you how old the unit is, sometimes they sit for a while and are actually out of warranty before it is installed,, also did you install it your self?? if you did di you fill it with water all the way till the water came out of the hot side on your faucet full force before turning on the electric,, if not you have fried the whole unit, you will need to replace both elements and the thermostat, the elements must be completely submerged in water before they have the power turned on,,,

Water heater heats but not to same temperature

Try shutting off the gas, shut off the water, and drain the tank to remove any sediment that may interfere with heat transfer from the burner. If that doesn't do it, check the dip tube to make sure it is still intact. The dip tube directs incoming cold water to the bottom of the tank and the hot water is tapped from the top of the tank. If neither of those turn out to be the problem, check the thermo-couple. Since a gas water heater typically survives about 6-9 years, you may be better off just replacing it.

Electric Bosch tankless water heater wont heat water.

Here is the run down>
Water too cold Neon light on:
Cause:
1). Water flow is too high-adjusting the water flow as follow; open fully both inlet and outlet shut-off valves at the heater, then turn on fully the highest flowing hot water faucet closest to the outlet connection. Adjust the outlet shut-off valve until the water flow from the hot faucet corresponds to the approximately 3.6gal/min at 105 degree.
2). One of the power supplies is not on-check the breaker box, there should be three ganged breaker, each corresponds to each of the heater power supply.
3). The power supply voltage has dropped-reset the breaker in the breaker box.
4). Temperature dial is turned too low- temperature adjustment is made using the dial on the bottom edge of the unit. The adjustment is between approximately 95 and 135 degree F. Turning the dial clockwise increase the temperature settings.
5). The inlet water temperature has dropped-readjust the temperature dial.
