Everstar Turbo Vac with stones in bottom

In the shop where I work we have the Everstar Turbo Vac 180. I've cleaned the filters out but there are still lots of little stones that pour out the bottom (it's winter and people constantly come into the shop with dirty boots). I know the pebbles aren't getting sucked up so there may be a suction problem. Please help

hello don't feel sad, just disassemble the the connecting hose at the bottom of vac clean out the hose and filter make sure theres no obstructions where air comes in at the bottom of vac (most likely there's a clog in the hose area leading to the vac)put it back together and your good to go!

I can't find the owner's manual to our shop vac. What's involved in converting it from a dry vac to a wet vac? I think it does both, but I've only ever used it to clean the car.

generally you remove the filter and just use the foam sleeve (if it has one) it should have a float ball in a cage under the filter. this is to keep the water from going into the motor if it gets too full. That is pretty much it. You should have it plugged into a GFCI outlet when using it for wet pick up, also do not pick up flammable or hazardous liquids.

My shop vac is not sucking anything only blowing air out of the open hole where the hose should go if I wanted to blow something. I want it to vacuum not blow out. The filter sleeve and dry cloth are...

I just had the same problem, the vac wouldn't suck in. Turned out to be because the filter was WET. It works great when I take the filter off before sucking up water or liquids! Not sure if this applies in your case, but definitely something to keep in mind. : )

Ridgid 16.5 gallon motor running with no suction

When you use the shop vac for cleaning up water you must remove the filter.

The filter is for dust particles not for water
I would replace your filter and dump the water out from the shop vac, Also after each time you vacuum up water dump it out of shop vac.

I hope this helped you happy new year!

I found my Everstar near a neighbor's trash. I was going to look for another vacuum cleaner for my third level so I wouldn't have to drag my heavy cleaner up and down the stairs. I was totally and pleasantly surprised at this vaccuum cleaner. It had better suction than my dyson. Granted it is kind of a pain to pull out the dirt from the plastic canister but I got used to it. Then one day it just stopped. I know that when the Dyson stops it means something is stuck or clogged and you have to wait for the motor to cool down for it to start again. Same thing happened to the Everstar. It started again. I took the top part where the filter was and found the filter to be incredibly filthy. I washed it, dryed it and put it back and that was the cause of the problem.

I had same exact problem. It stopped sucking, just spitting out trash back. You need to clean all pipes, all of them. Then take canister apart and clean and wash top filter. It works like new now again
