The hard drive may still have an old IP address. Set your network hard drive to DHCP. Make sure the IP clears and it is on the routers IP subnet. Just ping the router

Coby Kyros MD1042 will not connect to Internet

I hate to be rude but WEP was broken several years ago. Use WPA or WPA2 or (best of all) a wired connection.

Make sure you have the latest firmware for your router and the latest drivers for your network card on the PC/laptop or console.

What Operating System?

Try connecting to another secured network and when the key comes up just type anything since you won't know it. Then go back and try connecting to yours. Hopefully it will allow you to put the key in again.

Go to network settings and look at the wireless connection. Highlight your network and click properties. See if it will let you put the key in there. Also look at the Authentication Type, you may have the wrong authentication type (WEP, WPA, WPA2). You can check to see which type the laptop that you say connects successfully has, then make sure you use the same Authentication Type.

This is non network printer, you can't print just like a network printer , but you can install the printer in local system and share it & install the drivers in desired systems through local system where printer was connected. It will work like a network printer but scanning is not possible to other systems except local system.And one more drawback is your won't get print, if local system is switched off..

Open Control Panel and click on 'Diagnose Connection Problems' and follow the instructions.

The last choice is to use the Setup Wizard. It seldom works for me but you might more luck than poor me. Here are the instructions:

The Connect to the Internet wizard will guide you through the steps of setting up an Internet connection.

Open the Connect to the Internet wizard by:

• Clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button
• Click on Control Panel.
• In the search box, type network,
• Click "Network and Sharing Center"
• Click Set up a new connection or network
• Then double-click "Connect to the Internet".

This should have you up and running.

Cityville doesn't load right; makes half pages, slow hangs & won't post

2 things to look at 1st, do you have the latest version of Flash on your computer. 2nd how is your
connection do you have good connection speeds. Also run your virus/antispyware software and
check your system. If you don't have one of these check out Adaware by Lavasoft.
