I have a Blackberry Curve and I had it in my pocket last night. It was working fine for a while, then when I took it out of my pocket later, they keyboard was locked and the trackball wouldn't click on any...

Maybe you can try to hard reset it. The manual way to do this is to remove the batter for 1-2 minutes and restart the blackberry. Hope this fix your problem.

Multiple Blackberry problems on the same phone! Please help!

I think the easiest way to resolve as many of these issues is by resetting your blackberry.

Hold down ALT+RIGHT SHIFT(CAP)+DELETE keys - I'm not 100% sure this works on your model but it is soft reset.

Go into Options, then select Security Options, then select General Settings, then activate the BlackBerry menu and select the option to wipe the device - Will reset all your personalised settings to default

Device error 400

There is a few details we need in order to help you better solve your problem. Please let me know the following:

  1. What action on your Blackberry are you trying to do that gives you the ERROR 400 message?
  2. Are you trying to browse the internet whent his action happens or just any programs?
  3. Are you trying to use your phone under a shared work system?
  4. Are you on an individual plan or company plan?
  5. Are you able to do anything after that error message shows up?
  6. If you turn off your phone, take out the battery for a full minute, then put it back in, does that solve this error message?
  7. Is this a new error message or has this happened to you before?
Let me know the answers to these questions in order to better assist you with a solution. We're looking forward to your response!

Blackberry Pearl, JVM Error 547

IF ITS A PERSONAL PHONE CALL YOUR PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER ask if there is any special version of software you have to use.
try a hard reset (take the battery out wait 2 mins then put it back in) if that doesnt work...

BEFORE ANYTHING !!!! use the desktop software to backup your data (because you will be erasing ALL DATE on the device) on the BB (if you can) and save the file to the desktop. next go to need to download (use pull down menu)blackberry desktop software 4.6 and the blackberry devicesoftware (FOR YOUR MODEL PHONE) install the desktop software first thenthe device software.. this can take maybe an hour (not including thedownload time) once your done use your desktop software to restore yourdata

GOOD LUCK - Please rate this solution :]

RIM Handheld

Take the battery out of the phone and look at the model in there. It sounds like a 7290, but I am not sure. I am looking at a blackberry just like the one you describe.

I can suggest you go to and download the version for desktop manager and re-install your blackberry operating software...

Good luck!
