Question about Microsoft LifeCam VX-1000 Webcam

Flicker banner appears online, can't get rid of

Accidently clicked on "flicker" on the Life Cam menu when I opened it. Now its shadow appears on desktop on videocam, and in upper right hand corner when I am online. I do not know know how to get rid of it. When I click on "Flicker" on the Life Cam Menu, it takes me to Properties. I am lost on how to get rid of it. What is it for? Can anyone help? It is annoying. Thank you much..........

Others can hear me on my webcam but i caqnnot hear them

There seems to be a problem with your audio driver/speakers. Have you made sure that your speakers are plugged into the computer and the power, and are in the on position? Have you made sure that the volume is set to maximum and is not in the mute position? If so, you will need to update your audio drivers. For Windows XP, click on the start menu, click on control panel, then go to system, and double click. Then click on the hardware tab, and click on device manager. For Windows Vista and Windows 7, click on the start menu type device manager. Then go to your audio drivers. Right click on them and tell them to update. Say yes to search online.

Check the microsoft website to see what additional software you need for your model/OS
I run a Logitech and need DirectX 9 in addition to the Logitech software

Fill in the details of your cam/OS and check out the "Readme" links
