Question about Interactive Toy Concepts Polaris Sportsman 800 Remote-Control ATV

1 Answer

Poaris Sportsman 800 remote control ATV does not function.

ATV is new and has new batteries in the remote control. The other battery charged overnight, and when my son went to try and run it, nothing happened. We thought maybe the 9 volt battery was dead, so we put another new one in but it made no difference. It came out of the box not working. No one else carries the toy, and we have already called the company about the problem with no help.

I have the same problem. I open it up and realized that some soldering is not well done. I tried to bring it back to the store and they told me that I have to go back to the original manufacturer.

Cooling fan polaris 500

thermostat switch has been by-passed, when machine gets up to temp, the switch sends power to the fan, when the switch goes bad the machine will overheat due to the fan not kicking on. make sure the switch has not been by-passed and wired direct.

Can you tell me where the fuse on my 1999 polaris 400 explorer?

Check the battery for a shorted out cell. When these machines battery goes they will blow every bulb or almost every bulb.
There is no fuse just a circuit breaker that controls everything. It is located in the rear section inside a black plastic bag.
This may just be the start of a long process to get everything eliminated. Electrics can be a pain but in time you can trace it.
