Question about ASUS A8N-VM CSM (00610839133826) Motherboard
Well what I did was wanted to reformat my computer because i hav vista ultimate edition to xp. The problm was that my computer wouldn't boot my xp cd or even my vista cd. I have 2 hardrives and one of them, drive c, has vista installed. So what I did was i disconnected my hardrive that has the vista installed from my motherboard. My other hardrive is blank so when i rebooted it says error loading operating system and when i try using my xp or even my vista cd to boot it doesn't boot. Really weird need help.
This is because you have to change the boot sequence in the BIOS or setup of the motherboard. When you first turn on the computer you can see something like press DEL to enter Setup or F12 or F10 or F2 depending onyour motherboard. once you get into setup you will see either boot sequence or boot order. Set the CDROM as the first boot device. Then when you startup the computer again you will see PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CD. proceed with pressing anything on the keyboard.
