Problem for GoVideo Go Video DVD Recorder/VCR with YesDVD(tm)

My dvd recorder cannot read a dvd.(both blank or prerecorded)

I get a message that it is an unreadable disc. It worked fine till last night. I recorded a dvd, and after stopping the dvd, gave the message it was gathering data and never stopped. I couldn't stop or eject or turn off power. I finally unplugged it. Now it won't accept a disc. I reads and ejects it. It did keep an audio disc.

-   My problem is identical to kokiephil82's, and happened exactly the way it was described in his posting. Exactly. My machine is a Go-Video model VR3845. If my unit is shot, so be it, but if not, I would appreciate some insight into how it can be brought back to a useful life. Thanks in advance...-   Guest
