Question about Toshiba E-Studio 3511 Color Copier
The screen says network intializing and when I go into the admin section the network button is grayed over and will not allow access. This machine was previously on a different network so I need to get into this menu to set the static IP address for our network. It will not time out and stop trying to initialize the network settings either plugged into our network or not. The green light on the nic card is lit even wihtout a cable plugged into it --- Please help!
First of all, the default password for Admin is '123456'. The network button is grayed out because network is initializing. Which means the network portion of you copier is trying to boot up. If it never finishes booting up, you will need an authrized technician to re-load system firmware on your machine.

Usually the Admin functions are password protected. Do you know the previously entered password? If not you can call the manufacturers help line and ask for the default password. They all have one. Hopefully it has not been changed. Is there a "key op" person assigned? Check with them about password. Often people use their zip code! Easy to remember!
