Have a 7.0 craftsman tiller the tines go into gear but the wheels will not engage

I have a similar unit and it will require getting into the gearbox which is not an inexpensive venture. Just to be sure though, make sure the shear pins in the axles are ok. Hopefully it is just a bent/broken shifter in the gearbox but a shop visit will still be expensive if you cant do it.

My neighbor let us use his troy built tiller and it needs oil but he doesn't know what type of oil to put in the transmition. please help

The recommended lube for a Troy Bilt transmission is 140 Gear Lube. It's tough to find. If you use lighter oil, the trans seals will likely start to leak.

Help, new craftsman rear tine tiller stopped tilling.

It sounds like the belt just stretched. Now you need to move the belt tensioner over to put more pressure on it.
