Question about Computers & Internet
Sir/Mam, will you pls suggest me the name of C or c++ compilers that run in Windows Vista Ultimate(64-bit) operating system.i'm a computer science student n need to use the two languages very often but its been almost two yrs i couldn't load any suitable compiler and now its very important to do tht as i hv to submit a mini projet this semester,so please help me out,
tenho problema para atualizar meu pc por favor me ajude.
Difference between C and C++
First of all there is a difference between C and C++
Download VS 2008
For C++ you can use Visual Studio 2008 which from the ground up was built for Vista so it should work fine. If you dont want to spend money try out the express edition from the microsoft site. You will be required to register the product but its not a trial and will work fine for you :)
For C you can run the programs in compatibility mode
If you still cannot find anything suitable for C to run under VISTA then you will have to right click on the exe file of your c compiler and choose to run it in compatibility mode. Choose Win Xp (Service pack 2) and it will run fine for you.
Hope that this fixya will get you going with your project good luck! :)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
