Does the camera have a 'Format' option? Is this a removable memory card or internal? I would have thought the menu would have a delete selected or delete all option in some form or anther

Check the menu again and run through the card set up routine.
Where you find the delete 1 option you should see a 'Delete All' option to select.
Cant say exactly how it will appear so many cameras out there so many menu setups, but 10 minutes of frustrating fumbling will reveal all
    eventually

To delete the pictures from the Cameleon XP camera you will need to select either the delete 1 or delete all option. Once you have selected either option you then press and hold the button like you would to take a picture on the top of the camera. Once you have done this it should then either delete the one picture or delete all pictures.

Idk how to delete!

You can download the manual for your camera here:
http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DSC-W120%20&region_id=1

To delete photos:

  • Enter the playback mode.
  • Press the [Menu] button
  • Use the up/down buttons to select the trashcan (delete) icon.
  • You can use the left/right buttons to select single image, multiple images or All images.
  • Press the center (round) button.
  • Press the center button (repeatedly if doing multiple images) and then Press the [Menu] button again and choose OK.

That should do it.
Note that you can also delete photos quite easily by connecting the camera to your computer with the USB cable and deleting the images with Windows Explorer.

Picture error

I would recheck all of my settings on the camera. Go to the menu and check everything one by one. Your card may be damaged also. Do you have another card to try? Do you have your manual? If not you can to to www.olympus.com to download a new manual specifically for your camera and it may address this issue. Good luck.

Deleting pictures from cybershot viewer

Emmmeee,

I had the same problem with my digital cam/corder! An alternative solution to deleting pictures off the camera is, trickily enough, through your computer! This may be a bit of a hassle as you have preloaded your pics. What you will need to do is redownload your pics. You should be asked the option of deleting your pictures after download, and you click on the box.
