SOURCE: Mitsubishi CS-31505 TV - UN-memorize QV (Quick View) Channel?

I've learned from a Mitsu tech that there is indeed NO easy (nor logical & user-friendly) way to UN-memorize a QV channel.

However there IS a work-around to accomplish that so that the QV will revert back to its Factory Setting of "Last Channel Recall."

Using the Mitsu remote control:

1. Poke the Menu button.
2. On the Menu, select the "Add/Delete Channels."
3. Select the Antenna (A or B or whichever) and select the channel which was memorized in QV.
4. When that memorized channel number appears, select "Delete."
5. Poke the Menu button again to exit.

The QV memorized channel number is now gone, restoring the QV function to "Last Channel Recall."

NOTE: If that particular deleted memorized channel was also included among the SQV (Super Quick View) channels, it can then be added back into SQV using the Menu and SQV option.

Hope the above helps those who have encountered the same issue.

Mitsubishi vs-60607 60" screen is

when picture is getting smaller in size or goes away or moves towards one side then hit your TV lightly on left side or right side or on top & then observe will get normal picture or it comes & again it goes....if it is happening like that then following is the situation..........after 4 or 5 yrs in some TVs on main board at some soldering joints crack develops....then due to loose contact picture becomes small in size or disappears ...........when we hit that lightly then those loose contacts joins temporarly & again picture appears for some solution is ......TV main board should be observed carefully & most of the joints should be re-soldered.......only a good service engineer can do that........even after hitting TV lightly if there is no response then main board has to be checked your case iam sure it is loose connection problem.........joints should be re - soldered ...100% it works again................this problem cannot be solved by user unless user has idea about components( resisitors, transisitors, diodes,...etc) , have soldering iron , multimeter & other contact good TV service engineer

Mitsubishi WS-55807, screen removal / cleaning

Hi, thank you for visit fixya.
Pull out the speaker cover ( slow toward your self).
You will see screws in the middle , take it out ( maybe is 4 o 6 screws), be careful with any wires connect to panel control. Disconnect any connector to panel control. Pull toward your self , slow and slide up . Use a fine brush for best result, use glass cleaner liquid.
Any question, I will be here.
If you need additional help, please send me a picture front tv and I will show the right process.

Bow like image

You likely have bad convergence output ic's type #STK392-570.  These can be purchased at UED 800-648-6657.  You will need to remove the board they are mounted on to be able to usolder the old ones and resolder the new ones.  These will be mounted on heat sinks.

you know its in vertical section, try to look for a capacitor and changed it, this is more of a capacitor problem.

Mitsubishi black diamond tv

Might be a bad CRT or bad video output IC that drives the CRT that would cause this issue.

Bowlike effect convergence all screwwed up

I suspect you originally had an intermittent solder connection on the convergence circuit board. This may have damaged the convergence IC's on that board by now if repairing those connections doesn't fix the set.

Screen split with black bar through center, top of picture shows in bottom

It sounds as you desribe, the vertical output IC and or the b+ feed capacitor off the Hi voltage transformer feeding the vert. IC its required voltage. Not a really hard job to replace, but not for a handi person to do. This should be left to the professional, as there are no user serviceable parts inside this set and with the HI voltage and the safety issues its best to call somesone to assist you with this repair. Good Luck
