Question about Dryers
My assumption is that your whites are turning grey because of the overtemp condition. Please correct me if I am wrong. How did you determine your dryer was over-heating? There are over-temp sensors that would/should disable the heater in that case.. I would be more inclined to believe you have a problem with your venting system or blower ( restricting air flow and cooking your laundry)
I would be interested in following up on this ( its my hobby) but it would be useful to have the brand and model aswell as type ( gas or electric) to assist in the diagnostics for you..
