Hi!

Probably something internal, electronic devices are very delicate and probably someting internal needs to be replaced. My recommendation will be to contact manufacturer for repair options.

My Hiptop wont read the sim card? Ive tried for a few days to get it working but nothign works In the corner were its suppose to show the reception bars, it just has a 7 with an "X" over the top of it.....

Either there're problems with your MS or the MS card-reader.
Suggest you to bring it back to the dealer that you bought it from, both Hiptop & MS card.

Video call doesn't work

For video call to work, you have to be in a 3G covered area. This means that the icon over your signal level bar must be full and have 3G written in it. It wont work if it is running on a low 3G band (the signal bars must be full) a GSM band (a G logo above the bars) or HSDPA band ( a H logo above the bars).

I don't know why even though HSDPA is faster than 3G but the viewty will only allow video call to take place when 3G is available.

I've heard it can also be dependant on your service provider, as PAYG sim cards sometimes wont allow video calls.

GPS not working that well

The bars are used to signify cell service. If your GPS is having problems, verify there is a clear view of the sky from your device.

Cant call

From what I'm reading seems to be a few problems with that phone. First try this though http://www.htcamerica.net/support/ppc6800/software-downloads.html
Go there and see if you need a ROM update. If you do then hopefully that is your problem. Do you have enough bars when trying to make a call? If you don't have strong enough signal that is what can happen and seems to be a common problem with the phone.
Hope this helps and keep me updated.
Thanks,
Lee
