Re: Photos all have a green background.
Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is
turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software
program that came with the printer. When the software
program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should
again work properly.

I have a Canon Pixma MX700. I have printed many great photos but not it prints a faint image in the background but the rest of the photo is covered with black ink spots, what can I do to correct this problem?
DONT WORRY .UR CARTRIDGE IS OKAY.MAY BE THERE IS SOME MIXING OF INK ON UR CARTRIDGE PRINTING NOZZLE. JUST KEEP THE NOZZLE OF UR CARTRIDGE ON DRY TISSUE SO AS TO **** OUT THE MIXED INK.KEEP IT FOR ATLEAST 15 MINS AND REINSTALL CARTRIDGE.IT MUST PRINT PROPERLY. HOPE U SUCCESS .BYE.
I had the exact same issue with one of these printers. 83C00020 on the display with a blue background. printer will not power off. Try this - Press and hold the OK button then press the power button to reset the printer . I did this and it powerd on ok and is now working fine.
What photo program do you use? Is the yellow background on all Word doc's? You should check WORD go to the Format|Background make sure
"no fill" is selected. You should also check your print properties in control panel and any special program DELL uses. Make sure there isn't some custom setting that is printing the yellow background.
