Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV

1 Answer

Don't know which input the matches which device icon on screen

Mitsubishi projection tv WS-55859. Have hooked dvd player to tv, but don't know which device icon the the screen matches the component numbers on back of tv in which cords (red, white, and yellow) are inserted. In other words, how to you tell which input you are in? It is totally different than our Pioneer tv on which the remote clearly says input numbers.

If one or more of the inputs is "missing" or not there you may need to do a hard reset of the TV with the original remote.

If you want to try this confirm the actual model number and I will tell you how to do it.

The WS-55859 does not have a "Lamp" it is a 2001 rear projection set with three picture tubes.

Have (if this is the correct model) you tried the self check this set has?

Also do you have this problem on all inputs--tuner, and various rear inputs?
