Question about Sharp XR-10X Multimedia Projector
First, make sure you have unscrewed both screws holding the bulb assembly in place. Then, there is a power connector that is very tightly connected to the case. That's what's preventing you from sliding the bulb assembly out easily. Notice the dark gray "handle" across the middle of the top of the bulb assembly. If you stick a butter knife up under that dark gray plastic "handle," you can pry the assembly up and out. If your bulb is definitely blown, then don't worry about using too much force to pry that thing out. It's not connected to anything else. If you're not sure the bulb is blown, then be sure to leverage the butter knife against the case to gently pop the assembly out of the case.

You really have to pull on it to get it out, it's really wedged into the housing
