First, make sure you have unscrewed both screws holding the bulb assembly in place. Then, there is a power connector that is very tightly connected to the case. That's what's preventing you from sliding the bulb assembly out easily. Notice the dark gray "handle" across the middle of the top of the bulb assembly. If you stick a butter knife up under that dark gray plastic "handle," you can pry the assembly up and out. If your bulb is definitely blown, then don't worry about using too much force to pry that thing out. It's not connected to anything else. If you're not sure the bulb is blown, then be sure to leverage the butter knife against the case to gently pop the assembly out of the case.

You really have to pull on it to get it out, it's really wedged into the housing

The plastic cover should be able to be removed. There is a ratchet mechanism for the seat belt, after removing the cover, you maybe able to free it up to get the belt loose, some WD-40 may help.

Ive been trying to change my headlight buls on my 04 eclipse gts. im trying to pull out the power connector like everyone says. but the dang thing just wont pop out!!! ive yanked on it tryed doing slowly....

Did you remove the cap that covers the bulb socket? There will either be a plastic cap that twists or a rubbery dust cap that the wires go thru. IF you have the cap, twist it 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull it back. IF you have the dust cover, squeeze and get it out of the way. If your bulbs have a number like 9005 or 9004 you should be able to unplug the old one (may have to release the clip with SLIGHT pressure from a screwdriver). If the bulb number is like H3 or H7, or if you have the rubber cap there is most likely a clip that looks like a bent paperclip with a screw at each end.--You have to get that out of the way-it holds the bulb in the light.

flathead screwdriver under the lamp handle from the front and a sharp push down on the screwdriver handle (but don't break it) will dislodge it. it wedges in there pretty good.

the heat expands the plastic and wedges it in there pretty good. use a flat-head screwdriver, put it under the lamp handle, and pry it just enough to break it loose, the pull it out!
