refloor mat. I like that. Ha, ha. (That's the problem. You're trying to re-floor with a mat, instead of reformat)

You have to format a hard drive with a third party disk unless its a usb data drive
Restart your computer

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys navigate to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos restart

this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system.

Note: After you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults after windows has loaded

If you are putting windows XP on your computer your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation
the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd.

hope this helps

Keep getting fault codes 12 & 23 on 93 Olds Bravada already replaced Manifold Pressure Sensor and Intake Air Temp Sensor

The code 12 usually just means the system is in diagnostic mode. The code 23 should be for the mat system, not map.

Mat is manifold air temp.
Are there any driveability issues? Does the vehicle start and run ok?

My computer is displaying Alert! PCI Express card is operating in x1 mode. why?

Some Dell PC's PCI-E slot is version 1.0. New video cards are usually version
2.0 (maybe 1.1 or 1.0a ?). So they not work with 1.0 slot
at x16 speed and fall back to x1 speed automatically.

As far as I know there is no BIOS update, nor workaround to solve this
annoying behavior.

How do you use a fx-9750GII calculator and inverse matrix to solve the linear system:\r\n w+x+y+z=10 w+2y+z=7 w+x+3y+z=8 w+x+4y+4z=16

One not way would be to define a 4x4 matrix Mat A to hold the coefficients of the linear system. Then define a 4x1 column vector Mat V to hold the constants on the right.
Define a third 4x4 matrix Mat B you may leave filled with 0.
On command line, in Run Mat screen enter (Mat A) ^(-1) and store it in the zero-filled matrix Mat B. this is the inverse of Mat A.
If the inverse of Mat A exists, and it does in this case, the solution of the system is obtained as the column vector, resulting from the multiplication of Mat B by column vector Mat V

You can even shorten the procedure by just calculating ((Mat A)^-1)X (Mat V) [EXE]

To summarize
  1. Create 4x4 Mat A and type in the coefficients of the linear system.
  2. Create a 4x1 column vector Mat V for the right-hand sides
  3. Obtain you solution vector as ((Mat A)^-1)X (Mat V) [EXE]
To get the Mat identifier on command line,
  • use catalog or
  • in RunMat screen, press [OPTN] followed by [F2:Mat], then [F1:Mat].
  • At this point the identifier is on command line, and you have to press [ALPHA] [X,Theta, T] to enter letter A.
  • You use a similar key sequence to enter Mat V
To calculate the inverse of the matrix just use the [SHIFT][)] key sequence which is (X^-1)
Multiplication operator is the regular [times] key.

To stop acer logo before starting windows xp

Well, Firstly this might be a extreme case but is to reformat your hard drive removing any manufactures partition, and reinstalling the Operating System, but what i would do first is the go to start---run---(type this command and hit enter)"msconfig" the system configuration window should pop up. Go to the boot tab and place check mark in the box which says "No GUI boot" you mat also change the timeout seconds there too. hit apply then OK and reboot your system.

hope this works for you. let met know.

Targus Chill Mat Fan On Fritz

The fan rotor is stuck due to accumulation of dust. Take out the fan and clean it. Put a few drops of alcohol or lacquer thinner on the rotor/bushing assembly while manually turning its blades to loosen the hardened dirt until the fan freely spins like the good one. If it does not work, replace the defective fan if spare is available.
