Question about ViewSonic N3250W Television
I have a 2 year old Viewsonic that when turned on will flash a picture and then go off. It was actually my brothers he changed the main system board which did not solve the problem. I have a background in component repair so he gave it to me to fix. So ok I suspect the power supply and sure enough close inspection shows a burnt component resistor RS1 on the board and possible other items. I would give you the PSU number except I am at work and don't have it woth me but memory said it's the fs?? 212-?? if that helps. all i am looking for is the pinouts for the PSU and if viewsonic and God willing a schematic. I will comment on the PSU unit what I get home. Thanks
I just had a viewsonic supply all apart with a blown capacitor, I believe c36. q7 a surface mount npn transistor on the solder side of board was shorted. Replaced cap and transistor, set works fine. Also, check all your electrolytics on this board as they sometimes swell and go bad.
